Classes & Meetups

“Entrepreneurs that are set up with local resources have a better chance to succeed”.

Mastermind Groups

A group of peers who meet to give each other advice, support, and encouragement. We get together to walk through successes and challenges. To get and to give.

  • When: 1st Thursdays of the Month from 12 - 1 PM at the Leduc StartUp Centre

Who: SmartStart Business Cohort Program Participants and anyone with a business of 3 years or younger

Why: Our meetups provide a space for open discussion about business problems, frustrations, and new ideas. We invite the group to offer feedback, insight, and perspective to help each other achieve their goals. During these sessions, we set goals, create plans, and hold ourselves accountable to ensure we're moving forward. The group provides creative ideas and wise decision-making, and as we begin to implement our plan, we share success stories and problems to help everyone continue moving forward. This collaborative approach prevents us from getting stuck in problems and helps us achieve greater success.

  • When: Check back soon for a monthly date and time. Located at the SmartStart Centre (inside the Light House Cowork)

Who: Local entrepreneurs who run home based businesses

Why: Running a home-based business can often feel isolating, especially when it comes to tackling various obstacles, setting achievable business goals, and finding resources that cater to specific needs. Our solution is to bring like-minded business owners together to connect, share feedback, engage in discussions, and gain fresh perspectives. By joining forces with other local home-based businesses, we can all benefit from each other's success stories, accountability, and problem-solving skills. There's always room for more successful businesses, and we're excited to welcome new members to our supportive community.
